Human Rights & Responsible Business Conduct Policy
1) Purpose & scope
Approsolutions provides temporary procurement and supply chain support. This policy applies to our employees, contractors, and (where relevant) subcontractors and key suppliers supporting our operations. We expect any third parties working on our behalf to respect the principles below.
2) Our commitments
• Respect internationally recognized human rights and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and support equal opportunity.
• Prohibit forced labour, human trafficking, and child labour in our operations and in any subcontracting we
engage.
• Respect freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining where applicable.
• Maintain safe and healthy working conditions and follow applicable occupational health and safety requirements.
• Respect working hours, breaks, and rest periods as required by law; pay at least the applicable legal minimum wages.
• Conduct business ethically (including anti-bribery and conflicts of interest) and protect confidential information.
3) Governance & accountability
Governance oversight for this policy sits with the Founder/Director of Approsolutions Inc. We review this policy at least annually and update it when our operations, services, or risk profile change.
4) Risk-based due diligence (risk analysis)
Given the nature of our services, our human-rights and environmental risks are generally low. However, we apply a practical, risk-based approach to identify and manage potential impacts in: (i) our own operations, (ii) contractors/subcontractors, and (iii) key suppliers (e.g., IT, professional services, travel/logistics as applicable).
1 Identify relevant risks when onboarding a new contractor/supplier or starting a new mandate (industry, geography, and service type).
2 Prioritize risks using a simple Low/Medium/High rating and determine the depth of review needed.
3 Apply controls such as supplier/contractor screening, clear contract clauses, and confirmation of compliance with applicable labour laws.
4 Monitor through periodic check-ins, performance feedback, and issue tracking; implement corrective actions if needed.
5 Maintain records of assessments, actions, and any complaints for a minimum of 3–6 years (or longer if required by law/contract).
5) Preventive measures & training

All personnel working with Approsolutions are expected to understand and follow this policy. Training topics may include: respectful workplace and non-discrimination, ethics/conflicts of interest, confidentiality and data protection, and awareness of forced/child labour risks in procurement and supply chains.
6) Grievance mechanism (complaints)
We provide a complaint mechanism for employees, contractors, and (where relevant) workers in our supply chain.
Concerns can be raised confidentially and without retaliation.

We acknowledge receipt within 5 business days. We review and investigate as appropriate and aim to provide a response within 30 business days (or sooner where feasible). If a breach is confirmed, we implement corrective actions and, where necessary, take steps up to and including terminating the business relationship.
7) Environmental considerations
As a services business, our direct environmental footprint is mainly related to office activities and travel. We prioritize digital delivery, avoid unnecessary travel, and prefer responsible suppliers where practical. Chemicals covered by conventions on persistent organic pollutants, mercury, or hazardous wastes are not typically relevant in our supply chain.
8) References
This policy is informed by internationally recognized principles, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP), the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct, and the ILO core labour standards.
